2010 Census: It’s In our Hands

In 2010, the U.S. census will define who we are as a nation. Taken every 10 years, the census affects political representation and directs the allocation of more than $400 billion dollars in government funding. Our goal is to educated every resident of Leon County about the importance of participating in this historic event and help ensure no one is left uncounted. Achieving a complete and accurate 2010 Census is in our hands.

Why Fill out the Census Form?
Every household in the country will receive a questionnaire in 2010. To ensure an accurate and fair count of all populations at all geographic levels in the nation, the Census Bureau needs you or someone in your household to respond to the census questionnaire.
